Why Estimate Rocket?
Lead Management
Estimate Rocket allows for clients to be flagged as lead records. Leads have a whole separate flow with regards to follow up campaigns and how they are located in Estimate Rocket.
Adding a Lead in Estimate Rocket
The process to manually add a lead is very similar to the process of adding an estimate but with a slight difference.

A lead record can also be added through the Estimate Rocket API. The Zap would ideally have a sequence of 3 steps with the trigger being the new record from the source, the 1st action being a client lookup (to make sure you are not adding duplicate clients) and the 2nd action being the add Lead (Project as it is seen in Zapier).
What does a Lead Record Look Like
A lead record has different action buttons…..such as Create Estimate, Create Invoice, Create Work Order but appears very much like a project record in Estimate Rocket and can even have a scope of work and notes, perhaps from a conversation with the lead or the information collected from the 3rd party lead software or web form.

How do I Find a Lead in Estimate Rocket
The lead records in Estimate Rocket will show up in a couple of different places.
If you have been assigned a follow up on a lead that will appear on your dashboard on the appropriate tab (All, Late, Today, Future) depending on the assignment.

Or from the Projects Page with the Lead filter activated.
