Do an exterior painting estimate with your Estimate Rocket / Sherwin Williams account

Your Estimate Rocket account will have a preloaded set of painting items that are based on the PCA production rates. The items will also be connected to a premium Sherwin Williams paint, including the coverage needed to cover a specific substrate. 

Example Item Setup

In the case of medium exterior siding the production rate for 2 coats is 42 SQFT / hour and the Sherwin Williams Emerald Exterior Acrylic Latex covers 162.5 SQFT (at 2 coats) per gallon. 
There are 40 exterior painting items pre-configured for you in your account with labor rates and material.

Thus an area with 1200 SQFT of medium texture siding will calculate the need for 7.38 gallons of Emerald Exterior Acrylic Latex and 28.57 hours of labor.

Create An Item Template with your standard Sherwin Williams Exterior Materials

This will allow you to rapidly add those materials to a project. 
The product details, including images, will be displayed on the estimate. 
There are over 500 material items in your account, making a template with your favorites will help you find those more quickly.
