Estimate Rocket allows an estimator to quickly capture the details of a project using a flexible estimating process and to deliver a proposal for electronic signature on the spot.
The following allow for the process to be quick:
- Pulling items from a library of services that allow the estimator to quickly choose and set a price for the specific scope of work.
- Organizing the item library to be job type specific to save the estimator time.
- Allows for any estimating technique:
- General items
- Time and material based scope of work
- Site measurement type entries
- The library of items can be setup with these different type of items and the items can be mixed across the different methods within the same estimate.
Your First Concrete Lifting Estimate
Your Estimate Rocket concrete lifting account will be loaded with items that will do very specific calculations base on a void space volume calculation and relate that to the specific expansion / lift rate of the material you are using to calculate a total amount of material needed. We have material from HMI loaded into a specific template but you can also enter your own calculations into the item library.
Calculating the Board Feet and volume of material
The board feet of the project will be calculated in the above example as 20 ft x 10 ft = 200 square feet.
The square feet of surface is then factored in with the 2 sides and 4 inches of lift needed to calculate 1.85 cubic yards.
The 1.85 cubic yards is then multiplied by your material price per cubic yard to determine the full project total.
