- Pulling items from a library of services that allow the estimator to quickly choose and set a price for the specific scope of work.
- Organizing the item library to be job type specific to save the estimator time.
- Allows for any estimating technique:
- General items
- Time and material based scope of work
- Site measurement type entries
- The library of items can be setup with these different type of items and the items can be mixed across the different methods within the same estimate.
Your First Interior Painting Estimate with time and material
Your Estimate Rocket painting account will be loaded with some industry standards with regards to painting specific items. You have the option to use measurements or time and material to estimate an interior area to be painted.
Time and Materials
Adding time to a project will all you to use Estimate Rocket to track the worked time and report on profitability and work progress.
Material can be added to a project as simple total dollars or by adding gallons of paint. Gallons of paint is more beneficial for a robust work order and for tracking material usage but not required.
